The Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepals Saroj Kumar Yadav was elected the chief minister of Madhes today with the assistance of 63 members.

Yadav was selected the chief minister by Province Governor Harishankar Mishra.

He became the primary minister with the support of 63 legislators - 23 of the CPN-UML, 16 of the JSP-N, 13 of the Janmat Party, seven of the CPN-Maoist Centre, one of the RPP, among the NUP, and 2 independents - Surita Shah and Anirudh Prasad Singh Yadav.

Madhes Assembly has 107 members. KATHMANDU, JANUARY 11All the seven provinces have got brand-new chief ministers after four provinces - Madhes, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim - chose their executive heads today.

Province 1, Bagmati, and Gandaki had already elected their chief ministers. UMLs Khagaraj Adhikari appointed CM of Gandaki Karki selected Province-1 Chief Minister The UMLs Leela Giri was appointed the chief minister of Lumbini today by Governor Amik Sherchan.

In the 87-member provincial assembly, Giri has the assistance of 58 legislators - 29 of the UML, 10 of the CPN-MC, four of the RPP, 4 of the Nagrik Unmukti Party, three of the JSP-N, 3 of the Janmat Party, three of the Loktantrik Samajbadi Party-Nepal, and 2 independents.The CPN-MCs Rajkumar Sharma was selected the chief minister of Karnali today.

Governor Tilak Pariyar administered him the oath of workplace and secrecy.

Sharma has the support of 25 provincial assembly members in a 40-member assembly.

He has the support of 13 CPN-MC members, 10 of the UML, among the RPP, and one of the CPN (Unified Samajbadi).

The UMLs Rajendra Rawal was selected the CM of Sudurpaschim today.

Rawal has the assistance of 29 legislators in the 53-member provincial assembly.The UMLs Hikmat Kumar Karki was selected the CM of Province 1 by Governor Parshuram Khapung on Sunday.

He became the CM with the support of 60 PA members - 40 of the CPNUML, 13 of the CPN-MC, 6 of the RPP, and one of the JSP-N - in a 93-member assembly.Shalikram Jamkattel of the CPN-Maoist Centre was appointed the CM of Bagmati by Governor Yadav Chandra Sharma on Monday.Jamkattel has the support of 70 provincial legislators - 21 of the CPN-MC, 27 of the UML, 13 of the RPP, 7 of the CPN-US, and 2 of the Hamro Nepali Party - in the 110-member assembly.Khagaraj Adhikari of the UML was selected the CM of Gandaki by Governor Prithvi Man Gurung on Monday.
